The most difficult part of  training your dog is understanding their behaviors.  If one of our friends is upset, we can communicate with them to better understand their behavior.  Dog owners are not afforded this luxury and the lack of knowledge can cause frustration.  I always say, “Frustration in the owner breeds confusion in the dog.”  When dealing with dog owners in the past, one of the most frequently asked questions  was, “I just don’t know what they are thinking.”  This question is one of the main reasons I decided to create ‘Mello Dog Training.’  Understanding behaviors and why they occur is the basis for behavior modification.   My passion is giving each owner the knowledge to understand their dog’s behaviors and the tools to adjust them.  This knowledge will help you build a trust-based relationship between you and your dog!
