This book is one of my favorites. From the opening Introduction, Patricia grabs you with a story that puts you on the edge of your sear. Sometimes I go back and reread the introduction then find myself adding new details to the recreation of events that took place that evening. Sorry, that's all I'm going to give you! I'll drop you a few bread crumbs, but I'm no spoiler. This book not only discusses dog behaviors, but also our own behaviors and how we act around our dogs. In October 2014, I attended the APDT conference in Hartford, CT and that was the first time I heard her speak. I quickly understood why my training partner was giddy at the opportunity to take a picture with her. She is a brilliant woman who has helped so many dog owners better understand their dogs and their behaviors.
Special Thanks to Don Snyder for the outstanding photography. Here is his and wife Rachelle's newest rescue, Ashlynn, the cute black pup on the left!
